In this paper, we point out some interesting future research trends per each design method of the proposed methods demonstrated so far.Future work can be conducted to investigate our design method based approximations in other applications, e.g., signal denoising and control systems.

Future work can be conducted to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed designmethod in other applications, such as edge detection in images and the generation ofsecure single sideband signals for communication.Three avenues for advancement emerge:

(1) extension to multi-order fractional PID controllers with coupled α, β optimization;

(2) integration of tiny machine learning TinyML) for autonomous α tuning;

(3) federated learning across edge nodes to improve generalization. ASIC implementations could further reduce power consumption below 10 mW for energy-harvesting IoT sensors.
